Historical Note	The Memorial Gates were designed by Brown, David R., Architect, of Montreal, financed by the University and the Graduates' Association. The cement work was done by Arrand, Richard J., in 1927-28, the Memorial Gates and Tablet commemorate those students, facility and staff who gave their lives in the service of Canada during World War I. Murray, W.C., did the unveiling, and the Bishop of Saskatchewan gave the dedication service on 3 May 1928.
